One comment on “Fallen But Not Forgotten – Pfc. Theodore M. Glende, 23, of Rochester, N.Y., died July 27, in Kharwar, Logar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with small-arms fire.

  1. I raise my glass to the fallen
as God raises their souls to the sky
They lived their lives to the fullest
as the Soldiers of the Sky.

The ones left here to remember
will honor their memories in life
    With every breath they take
    through every struggle and strife.

The fallen are now there to guard them
    they’ve paid the highest cost
They’re always beside them and watching
not gone or forgotten or lost

So raise your glasses Sky Soldiers
    Remember the ones now above
The Sky Soldiers watching o’er you
The friends we know and love.
